It is played on a grid where two players take turns placing pieces. Each piece falls to the lowest empty position in the selected column.
The game is simple to understand but requires planning and strategy.
Choose a column and drop your piece.
The piece will fall down and stop at the first free space.
Players alternate turns and place one piece at a time.
If you place your piece in a position where it connects with others, you can build a line. At the same time, you must prevent your opponent from doing the same.
You can only place a piece in a column that is not full.
Pieces cannot be moved once placed.
The line can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
Connect four of your pieces in a row before your opponent.
If the board is full and no player has connected four pieces, the game ends in a draw.
